The Overhead-in-Bed Book Holder is an overhanging book holder that allows users to read books while lying down in bed, making it suitable for individuals with arthritis or limited hand dexterity or strength. It mainly consists of a clear Plexiglas panel connected to two threaded steel cables (the ends of which have to be screwed into drilled holes in the ceiling). Once installed, users can place their open book on the Plexiglas panel-with the pages facing down. And since the Plexiglas panel is see-through, all the user has to do is look up to read the text through the panel while lying comfortably down in bed. In addition to books, the Overhead-in-Bed can hold up eBooks, tablets and mini flat-screen televisions-anything weighing up to 20 pounds.
